Maisie William is in negotiations to star in a movie adaptation of Carrie Ryan’s The Forest of Hands and Teeth, according to Variety.
In The Forest of Hands and Teeth, Mary lives in a world where you must always mind the fence, for it’s all that keeps you safe from the Unconsecrated. In this futuristic world, the Sisterhood and the Guardians keep her people safe, but they’re hiding secrets, and it could change everything Mary thought she knew.
Maisie Williams will play Mary. Williams is best known for her role as Arya in the hit HBO series “Game of Thrones,” an adaptation of G.R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series.
The Forest of Hands and Teeth movie is written and directed by Kate Maberly, with Maberly co-producing the film with Doug Liman.
