ABC ordered a pilot of Melinda Taub’s Still Star-Crossed, a YA novel that takes place after the end of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Shonda Rhimes and her Shondaland production team will produce, with Heather Mitchell of “Scandal” writing and joining the producing team.
In Still Star-Crossed, a mysterious figure appears in Verona, determined to reignite the feud between the Montagues and the Capulets.
