Daniel Jose Older’s Shadowshaper won best YA Fiction Book – English at the International Latino Book Awards.
Shadowshaper follows Sierra Santiago, who was looking forward to a fun summer of making art, hanging out with her friends, and skating around Brooklyn. But everything changes when a weird zombie guy crashes the first party of the season.
Previously known as the Latino Book Awards, the International Latino Book Awards honors the best works of literature produced in English, Spanish and Portuguese. It is produced by Latino Literacy Now and Las Comadres de las Americas and Reforma and occurs every year.
