The ABC Best Books for Young Readers announced their picks for their 2015 catalog. The catalog highlights the best of books releasing between January and October 2015 as nominated by indie booksellers throughout the country.
Young adult titles are divided into fiction and nonfiction and include over fifty titles. The full list can be viewed at the American Booksellers Association’s official website and includes Leigh Bardugo’s Six of Crows, Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff’s Illuminae, Laura Ruby’s Bone Gap, Julie Murphy’s Dumplin’, and Gwenda Bond’s Lois Lane: Fallout.
A separate section for award-winning books highlights three YA titles: Jandy Nelson’s I’ll Give You The Sun, Holly Black’s The Darkest Part of the Forest, and Candace Fleming’s nonfiction The Family Romanov: Murder, Rebellion, and the Fall of Imperial Russia.
In addition, Noelle Stevenson’s YA graphic novel Nimona was listed in the graphic novel section.
