Universal Pictures bought movie rights to by Holly Black.
follows Jude who was kidnapped at seven, alongside her two sisters, following the murder of her parents. Although her beginnings there were not serene, Jude wants nothing more than to belong to the High Court of Faerie. But being a human among fey is no easy feat when they all despise humans, especially the Prince Cardan, the youngest and cruelest son of the High King.
The novel is slated for release January 2018 and will be the first novel in a new fantasy series by Black. No other details on a movie are yet available.
