Fox acquired the feature rights to Kendare Blake’s novel Three Dark Crowns.
In Three Dark Crowns, a set of triplets is born in every generation on the island of Fennbirn, with all three equal heirs to the crown. But becoming the Queen Crowned isn’t solely a matter of royal birth. Each sister has to fight for it.
21 Laps Entertainment, ran by Shawn Levy, will produce the Three Dark Crowns movie alongside Dan Levine. For Fox, Daria Cercek will supervise and Natalie Lehmann will manage for 21 Laps Entertainment.
