Fox 2000 optioned rights to a Turtles All the Way Down movie. Author John Green, who announced the news in a video on December 5, will serve as executive producer alongside Rosianna Halse Rojas.

The novel follows 16-year old Aza and her best friend Daisy as they investigate the mystery of Russell Pickett, a very rich criminal. While the two friends maneuver the spaces between them and Pickett’s son Davis to uncover the puzzle, Aza tries to navigate her own life and thoughts.

Isaac Klausner and Marty Bowen will produce the Turtles All the Way Down movie, with Erin Siminoff and Molly Saffron from Fox 2000 to oversee. Fox 2000 hopes to maintain the spirit of the film adaptations of Paper Towns and The Fault in Our Stars with Turtles All the Way Down.

Turtles All the Way Down is available now. What do you hope to see in the movie adaptation?
