Lunar Chronicles author Marissa Meyer announced the publication of Wires and Nerve, the first of a two-part graphic novel spin-off from the best-selling sci-fi series. Meyer is set to write the graphic novels in collaboration with Douglas Holgate as the illustrator.
Wires and Nerve will be a continuation of the Lunar Chronicles story, starring Cinder’s android friend Iko. Several other familiar faces are also set to make an appearance, including Meyer’s titular heroines, Cinder, Scarlet, Cress and Winter.
“Writing graphic novels has been on my ultimate writing dream list since I was a teenager and I’m so thrilled to be able to make the dream a reality, while also expanding on the story of The Lunar Chronicles,” said Meyer to the Washington Post.
Wires and Nerve is scheduled to be released in January 2017. For more on Meyer, visit her website. To join our ongoing Lunar Chronicles readalong, visit our Lunarthon page.
